Obverse description Fourfold quartered shield bearing the arms of Stolberg, Königstein, Rochefort, and Eppstein, surmounted by an ornate crested helmet with mantling in the field. The shield is rendered in a late Renaissance heraldic style typical of German small-state coinage of the mid-sixteenth century.
