Obverse description Central field occupied by a large, elaborately interlaced cursive royal cypher 'FR' (Fridericus Rex) rendered in an ornate Baroque style with foliate scrollwork and flourishes. The monogram is surmounted by a Prussian royal crown with arched bands, orb, and detailed pearl-and-leaf decoration. No peripheral legend is present. The coin is bordered by a continuous inner ring of raised beads.

Reverse description Five-line inscription fills the central field, reading the denomination and coin type in German: the numeral '3' appears at the top flanked by two floral rosette ornaments, followed by 'PFEN.'
