Obverse description A princely crown with cross finial occupies the upper portion of the field, with the initial 'F' (for Fürst, referencing the reigning prince Frederick Charles August) positioned beneath it in the central field. The peripheral legend reads FURSTL WALDECK LAND MUNZ, denoting the Waldeck territorial mint authority, rendered in Latin script and separated by dot stops. The design is characteristic of late 18th-century German petty coinage, with bold lettering and a simply rendered heraldic crown.
