Obverse description Ornate crowned royal cipher of Prince Christian Günther III occupying the central field, composed of interlaced foliate scrollwork forming the initials CG in an elaborate Baroque calligraphic monogram. A princely crown surmounts the cipher at the top of the design. The overall composition is decorative and symmetrical, rendered in raised relief against a plain field with no surrounding legend.
