| Obverse description | Within a beaded inner circle, a stylized tree with five branches occupies the central field, rendered in low relief characteristic of cast lead civic coinage. The municipal inscription STADT TELGTE is distributed around the tree in the surrounding field, with individual word elements separated by a dot. The execution is deliberately primitive, consistent with the emergency or token issues produced by minor German municipalities during the early seventeenth century. |

| Reverse description | A large Roman numeral III dominates the central field within a beaded inner circle, plainly denoting the denomination of three Pfennig. The date 1620 is placed above the numeral, filling the upper portion of the inner circle. The overall composition is stark and utilitarian, with an absence of decorative elements, wholly consistent with the functional character of cast lead municipal coinage of the period. |
