Reverse description Central device consisting of a crowned, ornately shaped oval shield bearing the quartered arms of Bavaria and the Rhenish Palatinate, with a central escutcheon depicting the imperial orb, the entire achievement set within an elaborate Baroque cartouche frame. The numeral 3, denoting the face value in Kreuzer, appears in a cartouche at the base of the shield, flanking the divided date. The Latin legend LAND - GROSCH. runs along the periphery, separated by the crowned shield, within a beaded border.
