| Obverse description | Draped bust of Maria Theresa facing right, wearing a tiara and ornate drapery rendered in baroque style. The effigy is depicted with fine detail characteristic of mid-18th century Bohemian coinage. A continuous Latin legend encircles the portrait, interrupted at the top by the apex of the bust. The inscription reads MAR THERES D G REG HUN G BOH, identifying the empress by name and her titles as Queen of Hungary and Bohemia. |
