Obverse description Central field features the crowned coat of arms of the Kingdom of Bavaria, a quartered shield displaying the traditional Bavarian lozengy pattern alongside the Rhenish Palatinate lion, surmounted by an elaborate royal crown. The shield is rendered in fine relief with detailed heraldic hatching. The circular legend reads K.BAYERISCHE SCHEIDEMÜNZE, denoting a Bavarian small-change coin, distributed evenly around the periphery. The entire design is framed by a beaded border.
