Obverse description Central field displays the quartered arms of Hanau-Lichtenberg within a decorated shield, featuring a lion rampant in the upper-left and lower-right quarters alongside additional heraldic charges including a small escutcheon at center. The date 1603 appears prominently across the upper portion of the inner field, flanking the shield. A circular Latin legend runs along the periphery, separated from the central device by a plain inner circle, with a rosette serving as an ornamental stop at the legend's commencement.
