Obverse description Draped bust of Duke George William facing right, with long flowing hair falling over his shoulders, a lace cravat visible at the truncation, and a small shield of arms at the base of the bust. The numeral '3' appears in an oval cartouche at the bottom of the field, denoting the denomination. The encircling Latin legend reads GEORG WILHELM D G DVX SI, separated from the inner design by a beaded border.

Reverse description A large crowned Silesian eagle displayed, with wings spread and detailed feathering, occupying the central field. The mintmaster's initials C-B appear in the lower field flanking the base of the eagle. The date 1674 is divided across the upper field to either side of the crown. The surrounding Latin legend LIGNIC BREGENS & WOLAV 1674 runs continuously around the periphery, enclosed within a beaded border.
