Obverse description Three co-ruling dukes depicted as facing half-length figures arranged side by side within the field, each in period costume. A small imperial orb appears at the top of the composition, serving as a symbol of sovereign authority. The numeral '3' denoting the denomination is displayed within an oval cartouche at the bottom of the field. The overall arrangement is characteristic of mid-17th-century German princely coinage celebrating joint rule.
