Obverse description Crowned and mantled coat of arms of the Bishopric of Würzburg occupying the central field, displaying a quartered shield with the characteristic Frankish rake and episcopal symbols, supported by two rampant lions as supporters beneath an ornate episcopal crown. The heraldic achievement is rendered in fine relief with detailed mantling flanking the shield. A continuous Latin legend surrounds the design along the coin's periphery.
