Reverse description Three heraldic shields arranged in the field, bearing the arms of Styria (a silver panther on green), Austria (a red fess on white), and ancient Burgundy (with ornamental flourishes), separated by decorative foliate or arabesque ornaments. The regnal date, expressed with the final two digits only, appears in the upper portion of the surrounding Latin legend. The overall design is characteristic of Habsburg Inner Austrian coinage of the late sixteenth century.
