Obverse description Quartered oval coat of arms combining the arms of Würzburg (diagonal rake/rakes on a field) and Hutten (three hill-like charges), surmounted by a princely crown and supported by flanking decorative mantling. A bishop's crozier appears to the left and a sword to the right of the shield, symbolizing both ecclesiastical and temporal authority. The circular legend surrounds the central device and reads the name and titles of Christoph Francis of Hutten. The overall style is characteristic of early eighteenth-century German ecclesiastical coinage.
