(Translation: Christian, by the grace of God, Duke of Silesia)
Reverse description Central field displays a single-headed eagle displayed with wings spread, rendered in the Silesian heraldic tradition, with detailed feather engraving and a crowned head. The mintmaster's initials C·B appear flanking the lower body of the eagle. A circumscribed Latin legend reading LIGNIC · BREGENS · E · WOLAV encircles the design, denoting the three duchies of Liegnitz, Brieg, and Wolau. The date 1669 is divided by the crown at the top of the design, and a beaded inner border frames the central motif.
