Reverse description Crowned imperial double-headed eagle displayed, bearing on its breast an escutcheon with the quartered arms of the Habsburg dominions. The date appears in the upper field flanking the crown. The encircling legend reads ARCHID AUST DUX BURG ET SIL MAR MOR, abbreviating the Emperor's titles as Archduke of Austria, Duke of Burgundy, Duke of Silesia, and Margrave of Moravia. The eagle's wings are spread and its two heads are turned outward, each surmounted by a small crown beneath the large imperial crown above. A fine toothed border frames the design.
