Obverse description Central field displays the quartered arms of Leiningen-Dagsburg-Hartenburg, featuring three eagles arranged within a heraldic shield, flanked symmetrically by a laurel branch to the left and a palm branch to the right. A princely or comital crown surmounts the shield at the apex. The legend, rendered in Latin capital letters, is divided by the crown at the top and by the initial letter L at the base of the shield. The overall composition is characteristic of early nineteenth-century German mediatized county coinage.
