Obverse description Crowned arms of Nuremberg — a divided shield bearing diagonal barry stripes on the dexter side and an eagle displayed on the sinister side — surmounted by a mural crown. The arms are encircled by a wreath of roses and foliage, tied at the base, with branches extending symmetrically to either side. The milled border frames the composition.
