Reverse description The reverse bears a bold, centrally positioned denomination inscription arranged in four horizontal lines across the field: the Roman numeral 'III' at the top flanked by two six-pointed stars, followed by 'GUTE' on the second line, 'PFENNINGE' on the third line, and the mint abbreviation 'S·M·' on the fourth line, flanked by two dots on each side and a single star centered below. All lettering is in large, deeply struck Roman capitals. A further star ornament appears at the base of the field. The coin retains a milled or grained edge border consistent with the obverse.
