Obverse description Crowned shield of the United Provinces bearing a rampant lion, flanked by the denomination numerals '3' to the left and 'G' to the right of the shield. The crown above the shield is an elaborate imperial-style crown with ornamentation. The circular legend runs along the periphery within a beaded border, with the inscription divided around the crowned arms.
