| Obverse description | Centrally positioned quartered shield bearing the arms of Oldenburg: the upper-left and lower-right quarters display horizontal lines (indicative of the traditional Oldenburg tinctures), while the upper-right and lower-left quarters bear a cross pattée, representing the County of Delmenhorst.
