Reverse description A tall floriated cross with double-barred shaft occupies the center of the field, its terminals each adorned with fleur-de-lis-style foliate flourishes and a central quatrefoil at the crossing; additional foliate sprays extend from the base and lateral arms, imparting a richly decorative Gothic character to the composition. The field is otherwise plain, enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the triumphal Christological legend running in Gothic uncial characters around the outer margin.
