| Reverse description | Three overlapping sugar maple leaves in high relief dominate the central field, realistically rendered with finely detailed veining; the foremost large leaf and a second leaf behind it are treated with selective gold plating, while the third smaller leaf in the lower foreground retains its natural fine silver finish, creating a striking two-tone contrast. The engraver's initials AN appear discreetly in the lower central field near the stem junction. The legend CANADA arcs along the upper periphery, and the bilingual inscription FINE SILVER 1/4 OZ ARGENT PUR curves along the lower border. The date 2014 appears to the left and the fineness mark 9999 to the right, both positioned at mid-field flanking the leaf composition. The rim is selectively gold plated, further enhancing the coin's decorative character. |
