Reverse description Central coloured vignette set against a deep black background depicting a Pink Lady's Slipper orchid (Cypripedium acaule), the official floral emblem of Prince Edward Island, rendered in vivid crimson-pink and green tones with precise botanical detail showing the characteristic inflated labellum and flanking lateral petals above broad, ribbed basal leaves. The coloured central medallion is framed by an elaborate struck silver border of interlacing scrollwork, stylised acanthus foliage, maple leaf motifs, and symmetrically placed spherical bosses, creating an ornate cartouche effect. The designer's initials 'LT' appear within the decorative border at the lower right. No inscriptions appear on the reverse field.
