Obverse lettering ELIZABETH II D·G·REGINA 3 DOLLARS
(Translation: Elizabeth II Queen by the grace of God)
Reverse description The upper-right quadrant of a highly stylised maple leaf rendered in bold relief, with selective rose gold plating applied to accentuate the leaf's veining, lobes, and pointed tips against the mirror-polished silver field. The design forms one of four interlocking quarters, each issued on a separate coin of the Maple Leaf Quartet series, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Canadian Maple Leaf bullion coin program (1988–2018). In the lower left of the field, the dual dates '1988 / 2018' are inscribed stacked above the word 'CANADA', while the purity designation '9999 Ag' appears in the lower right.
