| Obverse description | The obverse features a bimetallic design with a natural wood centre inset into a .999 fine silver ring. Engraved into the wooden centre is the Public Seal of Niue, consisting of a crowned heraldic device encircled by the legend 'PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE' and the motto 'ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI'. The denomination '3 DOLLARS' appears in the upper field and the date '2024' in the lower field, both laser-engraved into the wood. The outer silver ring is elaborately decorated with a repeating Gothic quatrefoil and foliate scroll pattern in high relief. |
