| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of King Louis-Philippe I facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed curling hair adorned with a laurel wreath. The engraver's signature DOMARD·F· appears in small capitals along the lower truncation of the bust. The peripheral legend reads LOUIS PHILIPPE I ROI DES FRANÇAIS, disposed around the full circumference. The coin is bordered by a continuous beaded inner rim, characteristic of the refined milled coinage of the July Monarchy period. |
