| Obverse description | The obverse presents four Chinese ideograms in regular script (kaishu), arranged in the traditional cruciform reading order: top to bottom and right to left, surrounding a central raised-rimmed square perforation. The characters 貞祐通寶 (Zhenyou Tongbao) are boldly cast in raised relief, with 貞 positioned above the square hole, 祐 below, 通 to the right, and 寶 to the left. The legends are well-spaced within the broad flat field, bounded by a plain raised outer rim. The coin exhibits a characteristic green and brown patina consistent with aged bronze casting. |

| Reverse description | The reverse is uniface, featuring only the central raised-rimmed square perforation set within a completely plain, unadorned field. A raised outer rim borders the edge of the coin. The surface displays a mottled green patina with areas of reddish-brown bronze visible beneath, typical of Jin dynasty cast coinage. |
