| Reverse description | Plain reverse field with a central square hole flanked by raised inner and outer rims, with no inscription or decorative motif in the main field. A faint raised mark or casting vestige appears above the square perforation, possibly a mint or batch identifier. The surface exhibits extensive green and ochre patination characteristic of iron cash coins produced in Sichuan during the Southern Song dynasty. The casting quality is moderate, with slightly uneven rim width consistent with provincial mint production of the Jiading era. |
