Reverse description Central decorative motif consisting of a symmetrical cross-like arrangement of four stylized floral or vegetal branches, each terminating in elaborately curling foliate forms with small blossoms, radiating from a central cartouche bearing the Roman numeral III. The fineness designation 1000 appears in the lower central field below the central motif. The peripheral legend PRO PROSPERITATE MUNDI arcs across the upper field, while ARGENTEUS is inscribed in large letters along the lower field, flanked by small rosette ornaments at either side. The overall design is executed in high relief against a deeply mirrored proof field.
