| Obverse description | Green and red letterpress Notgeld issued on plain paper, enclosed within a red Greek key guilloche border with intaglio-style lion-head vignettes at each corner. The denomination "Drei Millionen Mark" is printed in large red Gothic script across the centre, above a two-line payment clause and the date "Dresden, den 20. August 1923".
