| Obverse description | Printed in light olive-green on plain paper, the note carries a fine guilloche border with the numeral '3' repeated in the side panels and 'DREI MILLIARDEN MARK' lettered vertically along the margins. A large watermark-style vignette of the three-pointed Mercedes star within the Daimler circular logo occupies the centre of the note as an underprint. The denomination 'Drei Milliarden Mark' is set in bold blackletter type at the top of the text block, above the bearer clause in roman type; series designation 'Gutschein Serie A' and a red serial number appear at the head of the note, with two manuscript signatures at the foot. |
