Obverse description Laureate male head facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic tradition with finely detailed wreath and naturalistic facial features. The portrait is set within a beaded border encircling the entire coin face. The neck and lower truncation are visible, with drapery faintly suggested beneath. The Greek ethnic legend ΚΝΩΣΙΩΝ appears in the field, identifying the issuing city of Knossos. The style is consistent with late Hellenistic civic bronze coinage of Crete.
