Obverse description Bare head of Apollo facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with elaborately braided and wreathed hair bound by a taenia; the locks fall in layered waves behind the ear. The youthful facial profile is cleanly struck with a well-defined jaw and slightly parted lips. A bow and quiver are visible at the shoulder, serving as the god's characteristic attributes. The field is plain, with no visible legend on this side.

Reverse description A silphium plant or, as visible on the coin, a standing quadruped — identified as a gazelle or deer — facing right atop a ground line, rendered in high relief within a border of pellets. The magistrate's name ΛΟΛΛΙΟΥ (genitive of Lucius Lollius) is divided around the central type, with ΛΟΛ above, Λ to the left, Ι to the right, Ο below left, Υ below right, and the letter Γ beneath the animal, likely denoting a series or issue mark. The dotted border frames the composition on all sides.
