Reverse description Eagle standing left upon a thunderbolt, its head reverted to the right in the classic Hellenistic numismatic convention symbolizing divine authority. A monogram appears to the left of the eagle in the field. The ethnic legend ΤΑΥΛΑΡΩΝ is inscribed below, identifying the issuing community of the Taulares. The composition follows standard Epirote and Illyrian civic bronze typology of the late second to early first century BC.
