| Obverse description | Central oval medallion in high relief depicts the conjoined busts of King Karl I and Queen Olga of Württemberg in right profile, surrounded by a laurel wreath and surmounted by a radiant royal crown. Flanking the medallion are two allegorical female figures — Fortuna bearing a cornucopia at left and Minerva in helmet at right — each raising a hand to support the crown above. The Württemberg royal coat of arms appears in the lower exergue, with the engravers' names C. WEIGLE and A. SCHARFF inscribed at the lower sides of the field. A circular legend runs along the beaded border. |
