| Obverse lettering | 大朝鮮 開國四百九十五年 이십원 20 WARN (Translation: Great Joseon founded 495 years ago, 20 Won) |
| Reverse description | Restrike of the reverse design from the King Gojong 20 Warn pattern of 1884. The denomination '二十圜' (Twenty Won) is inscribed in large Chinese characters within a central beaded circle. Flanking the central device are two symmetrical sprays of flowering plum blossoms tied at the base with a decorative ribbon bow. A yin-yang symbol (taeguk) appears in the upper field above the beaded circle. The overall design is rendered in high relief with a mirror-like proof finish characteristic of commemorative restrikes. |
