Reverse description The reverse depicts a detailed architectural view of the Collegium Hosianum, the historic Jesuit college founded in 1565 in Braniewo, Poland. In the lower half, four robed scholars or clerics are shown in high relief engaged in study and discussion before the facade of the college building, which features arched windows arranged in two registers. Above the building, a radiant sunburst emanates from a central medallion bearing the Jesuit Christogram IHS surmounted by a cross, rendered in contrasting proof and matte finishes. The inscription COLLEGIUM HOSIANUM arcs across the upper field, with the founding date 1565 positioned centrally between the two words.
