| Obverse description | Central field features a quatrefoil cross-shaped design with three color-printed medallions depicting religious figures. The upper lobe contains a colored image of the Black Madonna of Częstochowa (Our Lady of Jasna Góra) holding the Christ Child, both with gilded halos. The left lobe depicts a robed bishop saint in green vestments holding a crozier, while the right lobe shows a second bishop saint in golden robes holding a cross. The denomination '2500' appears at lower left and 'FRANCS CFA' at lower right, with the date '2016' at the bottom center. The legend 'REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN' arcs along the upper rim in raised Latin lettering, with fineness 'Ag 999 mw' inscribed on the field. |
