| Obverse description | The obverse presents a nature-themed decorative field surrounding the mature effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, bare-headed, wearing a necklace and earrings, facing right — the portrait attributed to sculptor Susanna Blunt as used on Canadian coinage depicting the Queen at 77 years of age.
