| Obverse description | Central field features a traditional Nepalese yantra (tantric geometric diagram) composed of interlocking squares and curved decorative elements, with the royal name of King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev inscribed in Devanagari script distributed across the compartments of the design. The honorific titles 'श्री श्री' appear at the top of the central device, with the king's full name arranged within the geometric framework.
