| Obverse description | Dark blue-grey intaglio print on a fine guilloche underprint. The year 1923 appears in decorative panels at top and bottom centre, flanked by elaborate foliate and scrollwork borders. The RSFSR state emblem is positioned centrally at the top, below the inscription ГОСУДАРСТВЕННЫЙ ДЕНЕЖНЫЙ ЗНАК; the denomination 250 РУБЛЕЙ is stated in large letterpress numerals in two vignette panels on the left and right, with the value written out in full — ДВЕСТИ ПЯТЬДЕСЯТ РУБЛЕЙ — in the central field above the security clause and two facsimile signature lines, with serial number AA-6041 repeated at lower left and right. |
