| Obverse description | The face is dominated by an elaborate scrollwork and foliate guilloche border enclosing the central text inscription in large Cyrillic lettering. A small state emblem vignette is positioned at the upper centre, above the denomination legend. Two numeral value cartouches reading «250 РУБЛЕЙ» appear at the upper left and right corners, with a third larger denomination panel at the bottom centre. Below the main inscription, two signature lines appear for the People's Commissar of Finance and the Cashier, accompanied by a series letter and serial number. |
