Reverse description The reverse is printed entirely in dark blue on a white ground with an elaborate architectural border of mine-cart motifs along the top and bottom edges and columnar side panels. The central vignette presents an aerial intaglio view of a Cypriot copper mine complex, with winding conveyor ramps, industrial buildings, tall cypress trees and a locomotive train visible in the landscape. A circular guilloche medallion at lower left carries the denomination legend, and the bank name arcs across the top of the design in serif lettering.
