| Obverse description | The obverse features the coat of arms of Senegal centrally positioned in the field, depicting a quartered shield with two lions passant on the dexter side and a baobab tree on the sinister side, flanked by two symmetrical olive branches. A five-pointed star appears above the shield. The national motto is inscribed on a scroll beneath: 'UN PEUPLE UN BUT UNE FOI' (One People, One Goal, One Faith), with the lateral inscriptions 'UN PEUPLE' and 'UNE FOI' integrated into the wreath.
