| Obverse description | Central circular field bearing the denomination '250' above 'فلساً' (Fils) in raised Arabic numerals and script, enclosed within a raised circular border. The surrounding octagonal field carries the Arabic legend 'الجمهورية العراقية' (Republic of Iraq) along the upper arc, with additional inscription referencing the Non-Aligned Movement and Saddam Hussein distributed around the periphery.
