| Obverse description | Right-facing crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II occupies the central field, depicting the monarch wearing the George IV State Diadem, a drop pearl earring, and a pearl necklace, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished proof field. The portrait, executed after the effigy by Raphael Maklouf, displays finely detailed hair and drapery at the shoulder.
