| Reverse description | The reverse presents a finely detailed high-relief effigy of the Hindu deity Ganesha, depicted seated in lalitasana posture against a patterned filigree background. The four-armed deity is shown with an elephant head bearing a single intact tusk, an ornate crown, and elaborate jewellery including bracelets and a beaded necklace; the upper left hand holds a lotus flower, the upper right hand raises in the abhaya mudra gesture displaying the Om symbol on the palm, the lower right hand holds a modaka-filled bowl, and the lower left hand grasps a goad. A small mouse, Ganesha's traditional vehicle (vahana), is depicted at the base of the composition.
