| Obverse description | Against a mirror-polished black field, the central device displays the State Emblem of the Republic of South Ossetia within a beaded inner circle: a winged snow leopard passant before stylised mountains, encircled by the bilingual legends РЕСПУБЛИКӔ ХУССАР ИРЫСТОН (Ossetian) and РЕСПУБЛИКА ЮЖНАЯ ОСЕТИЯ (Russian). The denomination 25 ЗÆРИНЫ appears in raised letters along the upper edge of the heptagonal flan, and НАЦИОНАЛОН БАНК (National Bank) along the lower edge. The year 2025, fineness mark Ag 925, and weight 31,1 are inscribed in the lower field beneath the emblem. A border of stylised rosette ornaments frames the inner design along all seven sides. The Moscow Mint mark ММД appears in small relief below the emblem. |
