| Obverse description | Within a polished oval field, the Turkish crescent and star device appears centrally at the top, flanked by a scattering of small five-pointed stars across the field evoking a night sky. The legend TÜRKİYE CUMHURİYETİ arcs along the upper border in raised Latin characters, while the inscription SELÇUKLU DÖNEMİ BURÇ TASVİRLERİ appears in two lines across the centre field. The denomination 25 YTL and the date 2008 are inscribed along the lower portion of the field, with the mint mark interposed between them. Two stylised Seljuk-era ornamental rosette motifs flank the central inscriptions on either side. |
